Work & Co Expands in Brazil with New Office and Leadership

Work & Co is moving to a larger space in Rio de Janeiro and has added a new Director to lead its fast-growing team. Marcio Leibovitch is now Director of the office, located in the Ipanema neighborhood of Rio.

“Marcio is the most experienced and quite simply the best Brazilian Information Architect that I have come across, and I’m thrilled to finally work with him,” said Felipe Memoria, Partner, Design, in Brooklyn. “He’s the perfect addition to the talent that has already come together in the Rio office.”

Leibovitch joins Work & Co following ten years serving as User Experience Director for clients including National Bank of Canada and Qatar Airways, while at Montreal-based experience-centric firm Yu Centrik. He has also served as an instructor at UX institutes around the world, ranging from Denmark to Russia to India.

The growth of the Rio de Janeiro office has been spurred by long-term partnerships with key clients including Oi, South America’s largest telecommunications company. The office now counts nearly 20 people.
